It’s often said that love makes the world go round. Often it is at key points in one’s life that we think a little more deeply about what love means to us.
West Berkshire Bahá’í Shawn Khorassani said that ‘love’ is a subject which never fails to grab people’s attention when it is discussed at one of the Thames Valley Bahá’í Community’s regular Bahá’í meeetings on Tuesday evenings in Newbury. He said: “Love is something which everyone has some understanding of, but not everybody has experienced it in a spiritual way. It’s something that always generates a strong interest when we choose subjects for our Tuesday evening meetings.”
Bahá’ís are taught, in The Hidden Words of Bahá’u’lláh: “Thou art but one step away from the glorious heights above and from the celestrial tree of love.”
If you want to find out more about the Bahá’í faith, why not take part in a Tuesday evening meeting in Newbury. Shawn said: “We are always pleased to have new people come along to our meetings. We like to have lively and interesting discussions.”
