Prayer was the subject of the West Berkshire Baha’i Community’s first ‘Time to Unwind’ prayer and meditation devotional session of 2011 (5 January).

West Berkshire Baha’i Shawn Khorassani said: “Prayer is an intrinsic part of life for Baha’is. It’s something that it very important to us. Bahais believe that prayer is more like a conversation with God in contrast to meditation, which is like a conversation with one’s inner spirit.

“It is therefore not the language which is important, but rather the attitude of mind in which prayer is made.”
