Bob is a master at inspiration . . .

It’s not every day that you get the chance to say that someone is a true inspiration, but that is the case with ‘our friend Bob’.

His June ‘Time to Unwind’ session on a theme that unites religions and people proved so popular that he is leading a regular, monthly session starting in July.

It will be based on a programme he followed called ‘Way of Mastery’ -affectionately referred to as ‘The PathWay’ – which is  based around the fact that: “Whatever our backgrounds, all of us share a common suffering, and a common longing.

We are moved by the desire to grow, heal and know so that we can create and experience deeper fulfillment, peace, and contribution to others.”

Every second Wednesday of the month – over several months – will be devoted to the ‘Way of Mastery’. The first two sessions will be on Wednesday 13 July and Wednesday 10 August.

Everyone is invited along to participate. For more details about these activities, please call the West Berkshire’s Bahá’í Community on 07964 676461 or email myra@khorassani.com

There’s nothing quite like home . . . .

Thames Valley Bahá’ís will be discussing Home and Family at their next ‘Time to Unwind’ prayer and meditation devotional evening on Wednesday 18 May in Newbury. Everyone is invited along to participate.

Bahá’ís are taught, in the words of Abdu’l-Baha, that: “My home is the home of peace. My home is the home of joy and delight. My home is the home of laughter and exultation. Whosoever enters through the portals of this home, must go out with gladsome heart. This is the home of light; whosoever enters here must become illumined . . . .” Abdu’l-Baha (From a Tablet, published in “Star of the West”, vol. 9, no. 3, (28 April 1918), p. 40)
