Documentary released about ‘Faith and Sacrifice: The Baha’is in Iran’

Short documentaries are being released featuring stories of individuals who have faced persecution under the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Produced by Single Arrow Productions, they document on film individual accounts of human rights abuses in Iran.

The series is called Angels of Iran and features Baha’is, Kurds, student activists and others who are targets of the Iranian regime.

Amongst the titles is ‘Faith and Sacrifice: The Baha’is in Iran’.

UK Bahá’í Review 2011 available for download

2011 was a busy year for the UK Bahá’í community. The publication of the winter edition of UK Bahá’í Review, includes celebrations for the centenary of the first of two visits paid by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá , eldest Son of Bahá’u’lláh and Head of the Bahá’í community to Britain; a statement of support from Prime Minister David Cameron for the seven former leaders of the Iranian Bahá’í  community; and thoughts from a Bahá’í perspective on last summer’s riots as well as features about the situation of the Bahá’ís in Iran and Egypt.
