‘. . . a child who has lost his parents . . .’

Welcome to Thames Valley Bahai Community’s regular ‘thought for the month’ Bahai webpost.

Each thought is taken from the Bahai Reference Library.

Here’s September’s ‘thought for the month’“There are many things which will, if neglected, be wasted, and come to nothing. How often in this world do we see a child who has lost his parents and who, unless attention be devoted to his education and training, can produce no fruit. And better off dead than alive is he who produceth no fruit. . . .” (From a Tablet – translated from the Persian) [11]

The language of love . . .

Prayer is the subject of Wednesday’s ‘Time to Unwind’ prayer and meditation devotional session being held by the West Berkshire Baha’i Community on Wednesday (15 September) in Newbury, from 8pm to 10pm.

West Berkshire Baha’i Myra Erbenova said: “Prayer is a way of life for Baha’is. We have a wide body of prayers and meditations pertaining to all aspects of life. Prayer is both conversation with God and also the language of love.”
