Dates and topics set for ‘Time to Unwind’

Thames Valley Bahá’ís have set the dates and topics for their next ‘Time to Unwind’ prayer and meditation devotional evenings – held on Wednesdays in Newbury.

They are:

  • May 4 – Forgiveness
  • May 11 – Self-control, perseverance & patience
  • May 18 – Harmony between science & religion
  • May 25 – Together we can help each other

Bahá’ís and non-Bahá’ís alike are invited along to participate in the activity evenings.

Don’t miss April’s cluster reflection meeting

Thames Valley Bahá’í Cluster’s Area Teaching Committee has announced the date for its April 2011 cluster reflection meeting – this Sunday, 17 April.

The event, which is being hosted by Bahá’ís from Slough, Hazlemere and High Wycombe, is to be held in Kennington Village Hall, Oxford.

Some of the duties of the Area Teaching Committee include:

  • Promoting the spread of short-term teaching projects
  • Learning about how the devotional character of neighbourhoods can be enhanced
  • Developing a culture of visits to each other’s homes for spiritual conversations
  • Collecting statistical information to help the Unitervisal House of Justice and the International Teaching Centre chart the progress of the cluster
