“The Power of Kindness” – a wonderful audio story collection from the Anis Foundation

This collection features stories about ‘Abdu’l-Bahá collected from various sources and carefully crafted into audio stories. You may not have heard these before!

From the Anis Foundation website:

Explore the mysterious and transformative “Power of Kindness”.

This is our third collection of stories about the inspirational character of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá.

Born in 1844, his life embodied his beliefs of the equality of men and women, the oneness of mankind, and the promise of world peace.

You will find these stories gently asking questions about how kindness can become a way of life, change the way we behave, and the way we see the world around us.

Oxford Youth Gatherings provide a space for study and reflection

One of the participants remarked:

At the Oxford youth gatherings we have a chance to have conversations that we usually would not have at school or at work, specifically spiritually uplifting conversations. it gives us a chance to learn about religions, God, and different viewpoints. The atmosphere is very friendly and informal so it is a very relaxing environment to be in. We also get to play games and music and form some new friendships.

And from the organisers:

“On Sundays and Wednesdays, youth gather in Oxford for prayers, study circles, activities, games, and more, in a spirit of fellowship and cheer. The recurring spaces formed welcome all to come and embolden each other for the betterment of our lives and the lives of those around us.”

It’s open to all the youths in the Thames Valley Cluster.
